Natalie Bagaporo

Natalie Ricasa Bagaporo is a second generation Filipina-American from Bonita, California. Ms. Bagaporo graduated in June 2018 from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Human Biology and Asian American Studies. With the values of kapwa (shared humanity), relevant education, and social justice, Bagaporo has committed to being a part of something bigger, whether that was through community building, advocacy-based organizing, or project management. In her current capacity, Ms. Bagaporo serves as the Assistant Programs Coordinator for Associated Students at San Diego State University. She explores her passion for Leadership and Higher Education both as a student advisor and as a recent graduate of the Post-secondary Educational Leadership Masters of Arts program. She is both interested and invested in being an activator; someone who is an agent of change, and her research interests include Student-Initiated Retention Projects (SIRPs), Filipinx leadership, and student empowerment.
