Jason Lustina
Founder, SoCal Filipinos
Jason Lustina was born in Los Angeles and raised in Carson, California. He has spent his professional career in fundraising/fund development for 20+ years. Jason is also the founder of the SoCal Filipinos which started as a Facebook group and now non profit has grown to 61K+ members. Founded in June 2020 SoCal Filipinos focus is connecting Filipinos/Filipino American’s through their shared experience living or having a tie to Southern California by engaging in a variety of posts, panels and workshops. The mission is to build a social community that bridges Filipinos from all ages and different places while bringing awareness of the Filipino and Filipino- American culture and experience. In his spare time Jason serves on the board of SIPA (Search to Involve Pilipino-Americans) and has his side baking business called Brown Baked where he brings traditional Filipino flavors and applies them to cookies, breads, cheesecakes and more.
