Herman Martir serves as the President of Asian Action Network, an organization with the mission to strategically connect, empower and mobilize the Asian Pacific American community to engage in public service, in the political process, in social justice issues and in civic engagement, in order to help improve the lives and well-being of Asian American and Pacific Islanders in America. Served as a Commissioner on the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islanders. Served as Co-Chairman on Urban Revitalization Faith Initiatives working with Faith, business, minority groups and government on how to improve the quality of life of minorities in urban communities across the nation. National Asian Outreach Coordinator and District Director for - Christians United For Israel (CUFI), the largest Faith-based organization, with over 11.5 million members in the U.S., educating about the biblical and moral imperative to support Israel. And and fighting anti semitism in America Texas Advisory Council Member, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (usglc.org) – a diverse group of key business and NGO leaders that support strategic investments in development and diplomacy alongside defense to build a better, safer world. (2015-present).

We will talk about each Commissioner and their journey to being appointed, where the commonalities of the work different Administrations led on, and what they do for the community now!
