Larissa is a recent graduate from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and a minor in Anthropology. She hopes to further her professional career by pursuing a degree in Nursing. During her college career, her involvement in the Asian American community was jumpstarted by cultural dance. She held many leadership positions within the Filipino Student Association and the Asian American Student Union at UF. With a strong interest in assisting marginalized populations, she has worked as a mentor, volunteer, and coach at various local and national organizations that serve those populations. A child of two immigrants from the Philippines, she holds her culture very close to her heart and takes advantage of every opportunity to share it. With her skills, she plans on advancing the Asian American agenda through health and youth empowerment.
