Following a successful two years as Co-Membership Director, we are excited for Gio Duaqui to transition to Director of Diverse Segments as part of the NaFFAA National Chairman’s Council. Utilizing his extensive experience and passion, Gio will lead the national facilitation of Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment (E3) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) programming.

Gio is Partner and Senior Vice President at ITO Solutions, an information technology and services firm. Previously, Gio gained extensive experience in marketing, sales, business development, operations, and management with some of the most prominent investment firms and Fortune 500 organizations, including Fidelity Investments, MetLife, and Citigroup Asset Management in NYC and Irvine, CA. Gio supports a variety of causes and invests time in the community by participating in organizations focused on service, civic outreach, and business networking. Since 2019, he has served as the National Co-Membership Director of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), and he moderated a well-received business panel on “The Secrets of Success of Women in Business” at
NaFFAA’s most recent National Economic Empowerment Conference in Carson, CA. Gio majored in business and economics with a specialization in international business at Albertus Magnus College, a Catholic liberal arts college in New Haven, Connecticut, and in 2021, he became the first alumnus to be elected to the College’s Board of Trustees. Born in Italy and raised in Tarlac City, Philippines, Gio later moved to Meriden, Connecticut to continue his education. He is fluent in Tagalog (Kapangpangan) and speaks conversational Italian.
