Largest Network of Filipino American Organizations, NaFFAA, Holding Events to Benefit Filipino American Veterans and to Celebrate Twenty-Year Legacy
The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) will gather in Washington, DC, this weekend to hold two events in celebration of Filipino American History Month.
First, NaFFAA is co-sponsoring a Filipino American History Month Welcome Reception in honor of Filipino American World War II veterans. Proceeds from all donations collected at event will benefit The Filipino Veterans Recognition and Education Project. For every donation of $100, two Filipino American World War II veterans or their families will be presented replica Congressional Gold Medals.

The following day, NaFFAA will hold its 20th Anniversary Gala, recognizing their twenty-year legacy, and highlighting their comprehensive vision to unite and amplify the voices of the four million Filipinos and Filipino Americans living in the United States. The gala, which will be emceed by ABS-CBN Television Personality Ginger Conejero, will feature a distinguished program of speakers, the presentation of honors and awards, and a lively lineup of Filipino American entertainers, including performance group Broadway Barkada, comedian JR De Guzman, and singer/actor Jon Joven.
