Why Filipino Americans Should Vote.<\/span><\/a>\u201d<\/span> The PSA features testimonials from current NaFFAA leaders. \u201cI want our fellow Filipino Americans to understand how impactful and powerful we can be if we allow them to hear our voice,\u201d said NaFFAA National Chairman Brendan Flores. <\/a>According to the <\/span>2018 Asian American Voter Survey<\/span><\/a>, 92% of eligible Filipino Americans plan to vote in the upcoming election. While this is the highest percentage among all Asian American subgroups, <\/span>only 50%<\/span><\/a> of eligible Filipino Americans actually participated in the 2016 presidential election. Through the FilAm Vote Program, NaFFAA has been focused on increasing voter registration, voter education, voter protection, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts throughout the nation. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
